Bernard, 40, is scheduled to die by lethal injection at the federal penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana on Thursday. He was sentenced to death for his role in the 1999 kidnapping and murder of two youth ministers, Todd and Stacie Bagley, in Texas.
