Since starting the challenge, Ali has successfully cooked around 30 different recipes from the game. Some dishes she has already created include Roots Platter, Chocolate Cake, and Autumn’s Bounty Pasta. With 80 recipes to cook, the process of recreating these iconic dishes from Stardew Valley has sometimes been a challenge. One of the more challenging recipes was for Strange Buns. According to Ali, the sweet dish contained an ingredient called void mayonnaise. However, since it didn’t exist in real life, she had to improvise.

Ali shared some details regarding what caused her to pursue the challenge of cooking every recipe in the game. She revealed that she began playing the game back in 2017. However, the idea to begin a cooking challenge didn’t come to her until after she started a new save for Stardew Valley in 2020.

These recipes from Ali have become very popular with the Stardew Valley community. So far, she has gained over 88,400 followers on TikTok. In addition, her videos have accumulated an impressive 609,900 likes from fans. Furthermore, her fans can try to recreate these recipes as she gives a detailed rundown of the ingredients used in her dishes on her Instagram account

It’s exciting to see fan projects that show what memorable game items look like in the real world. Whenever Ali completes these 80 different recipes in Stardew Valley, she says that she will “probably just pick random food from video games/pop culture and recreate it.” When the time comes for her to choose a new game with recipes to cook, she will have no shortage of options. Some other games with cooking mechanics include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Minecraft. It will be interesting to see what the talented creator selects in the future.

Stardew Valley is out now for Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
