So when Kurt Busch leads the 39-car field to the starting line at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, every driver will have a major question in mind: How will my car handle in the Kobalt 400?

Sunday’s race was schedule to begin at 3:46 p.m. ET; TV coverage by Fox. At that time, well-regarded forecaster Brian Neudorff and meteorologists expected winds blowing from the southwest to affect the race. UPDATE: The race start was delayed at least 15 minutes.

Busch set a track record with a speed of 196.328 mph and will start from pole position for the second consecutive week. Joey Logano joins Busch on the front row.

NOTE: Carl Edwards and Jamie McMurray will use backup cars on Sunday and start in the back of the field.
