Depay ended last season as top scorer in the Dutch league but his goalscoring form seems to have evaded him this season. He has been widely criticized for his lack of end product in front of goal despite taking several shots.

Depay has the worst shot conversion ratio of any Manchester United player this season with a minimum of 20 shots. His shot conversion rate stands at a shocking 5.9%. He has taken 47 shots this season having scored only twice.

Depay is seventh in the list of players with the least shot conversion rate in the Premier League. Swansea City’s Jonjo Shelvey leads the way with a conversion rate of 2.9% having scored only once from his 55 shots.

Leaders Leicester City surprisingly have two players in this list with Marc Albrighton and Danny Drinkwater making up the top three. Albrighton has been very good with his crosses this season but less so with his shooting managing only a solitary goal after 39 shots.

His teammate Danny Drinkwater has been an important cog in the Leicester midfield but has an almost identical shooting record as that of his teammate Albrighton, having scored only once from 34 shots.

The list of the players with the worst conversion ratio is given below:

The above list only includes players who have scored at least one goal this season. There are also 5 players who haven’t managed a single goal after having taken a minimum of 20 shots. Here is the list:
