The voluntary workout program begins Monday, but the wide receiver is also considering sitting out mandatory minicamp and training camp this summer.

Brown led the NFL with 129 catches for 1,698 yards last season and scored 13 touchdowns, which earned him first-team All-Pro honors and a third trip to the Pro Bowl. He also recorded 319 punt return yards with one touchdown.
Brown, 26, signed a six-year contract extension worth $43 million in 2012. He restructured his contract last season to create $4 million in salary cap space for the team. He made $5.285 million in 2014 and is expected to make $6 million in 2015. Brown won’t become an unrestricted free agent until after the 2017 season.
