“We’re taking all the Browns stuff down,” Layne said the night he was drafted.
Layne followed through on his promise. In a video last week for Steelers.com, the 83rd overall pick said he is “done” with the Browns and that his father, Deondre, was painting over a Browns-themed bathroom in Layne’s childhood house.
His dad posted several pictures and a video of the bathroom transformation with a hand-painted Steelers logo on the wall and even a Terrible Towel hanging on the towel rack.
On Friday at Steelers rookie minicamp, Layne confirmed to ESPN that the transformation was complete.

From a shower curtain to the Steel Curtain, Layne has officially washed himself of any Browns fandom.
